Kirstie Hampson is the Centre Administrator for the JDI Centre for the Forensic Sciences, managing the communications, events, finances and working with the Director on various related projects; and as programme administrator for the MSc in Crime and Forensic Science. She has an MSc in Forensic Archaeological Science from UCL (2006) and joined the Centre in 2011.
After graduating from her MSc she initially worked for the University of London Careers Group, organising graduate careers fairs; and then joined the Royal Society of
Chemistry as an education communications specialist. She then worked for both the RSC and later the ASE (Association for Science Education) as a programme manager: developing, delivering and managing professional development training for primary and secondary science teachers.
Kirstie also volunteers as a STEM Ambassador working in secondary schools, and
has volunteered with the Science Museum, helping to run family events.
