New Scientist survey
14 February 2012
MORE than three-quarters of UK forensic scientists that responded to a New Scientist
survey believe that the closure of the UK's Forensic Science Service
(FSS) next month will lead to an increase in miscarriages of justice.
Most also believe that switching to private and in-house police labs
will reduce impartiality in interpretation, and therefore accuracy, of
evidence.
New Scientist online has the full article (some content may be charged for).
