Look for the Waterstone’s bookshop on the corner of Gower Street and Torrington Place. We are opposite that in the orange building with big glass windows.

Some events take place at The UCL Art Museum and The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology.

Petrie Museum Exhibit

Gain an insight into who did the writing in Egypt with a guided tour of objects revealing the origins of writing. Then be inspired to make your own papyrus and learn some basics of hieroglyphs to produce your own work in this series of afternoon workshops set in The Petrie Museum's world class collection of everyday Egyptian artefacts.

2pm-3pm: Making Egyptian Papyri – hands on workshop producing your very own piece of papyrus with Gamal Ibrahim

2pm-3pm: Hieroglyphs – the mysteries of hieroglyphs produce your own piece of writing with Ibrahim Ibrahim
