Philip Horne

Philip Horne is a Professor in the English Department at UCL.

He moved to UCL after receiving his MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge, and holding a Research Fellowship at Christ’s College, Cambridge. 

His research interests centre around Henry James and film. He has served as the President of the International Henry James Society, and is General Editor of the Cambridge University Press edition of the Complete Fiction of Henry James. 

Philip has also interviewed filmmakers Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, John Boorman, Terence Davies, Richard Linklater, Alexander Payne and Michael Haneke among others. He writes on literature and film for newspapers and magazines.
