The Festival of Culture concludes with a fabulous line up, including the Festival of Archaeology, Dickens's Night Walks and a screening of Thorold Dickinson's Record of War.

Take a high speed train to explore the past and present of the Olympic Park. Try your hand at bringing Beowulf to life through performance, play and game design. Take a walk though migration, and watch a performance of 'Blackshirts: the 18b Testimony of Flora Poole, Spinner'.

Indie the Archaeology Dog

We'll also be joining up with the new It’s All Academic Festival – a day long extravaganza of talks, tours, performances and workshops with activities for all ages and interests. Every corner of the campus will come to life, with diverse highlights including a hands-on pewter sessions in the Institute of Making, a chance to help Indie the Archaeology dog find his excavation tools, and a journey down the Nile with the fabulous family trail in the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology.
