Junior Researchers Forum
As a pilot project during the first two years of the Institute’s operation, we will host a Junior Researchers Forum. We will support groups of advanced research students – MA students, PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers – to work together to explore common research interests related to Europe or the EU.
We
invite proposals from groups of MA, PhD and/or post-doctoral students. Preferably, the lead applicants stem from at least two different departments at UCL. Activities may include seminars,
workshops, discussion groups and invited guest speakers – or a
combination thereof.
Funding of up to £700 per group and year will be available, as well as limited administrative assistance.
Proposals should give an account of the topic of the project, its key objectives and its contribution to the study of Europe and the EU. It should outline the proposed activities and a coherent budget outline. In addition, applicants should provide information about previous activities (if any), plans for future activities and the potential, where applicable, of creating a longer-term network at the university.
Please download the APPLICATION FORM here. For any further details or if you have any queries, please contact us.
