Entry Requirements for 2013 entry

If the full Economics specialism on this programme is chosen, an A* grade in Mathematics A level or equivalent qualification (7 in Mathematics at higher level in the IB Diploma; 9 in Mathematics taken as a full option in the European Baccalaureate) is required. There are two (optional) Economics pathways: ESPS with an element of Economics and ESPS with a full Economics specialisation. The difference between the two is that the latter does, whilst the former does not, prepare you for postgraduate work in Economics.

An A grade in Mathematics A level or equivalent qualification is an acceptable alternative to our entry requirement of a social science or humanities subject.

You do not necessarily need to speak French in order to apply to this programme. Language requirements are different depending on the campus you choose at Sciences Po and the language you choose for UCL. For instance, if you choose to study at Menton with Italian as your language you will need only English. Admission interviews will be conducted in English and in the relevant language.

The following table summarizes the language requirements that apply to each campus and to the language chosen as major.
