Medical and Social Statistics Network

Statisticians in the network are involved in a broad range of epidemiological and health research projects spanning national health surveys, longitudinal cohort studies and health care research. Our research interests in social and medical statistics include longitudinal data analysis, multilevel modelling and methods for modelling disease progression. 

Members of the network are involved in various teaching and training activities including running statistics courses for post-graduate students and research staff. There are also PhD research opportunities in Statistics and Research Methods. Other activities include informal meetings and seminars.
