Biography:

Caroline trained as a nurse (RMN) and worked for several years within the UK mental health services. She has a degree (BSc Hons) in Development and Health in Disaster Management from Coventry University (2000), and a Master of Community Health (MCommH) from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM 2001). She has extensive experience working in qualitative and health related research in both the charity sector and academia (LSTM, UCL and Institute of Psychiatry). Caroline is currently working as Project Manager of the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA) and completing her PhD research using data from the UK Millennium Cohort Study (MCS). Her research is a quantitative longitudinal analysis exploring the relationship between maternal psychological distress and early childhood externalising behaviour. She has overseas working experience in Tanzania, Guatemala and Zambia.
