End: Feb 03, 2011 06:00 PM
Location: MA House, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP
The UCL Finance Conference is one of the largest student led finance conferences in Europe. Since its inaugural conference in 2010 it has gone from strength to strength with more applicants, more speakers and more support from companies now ranging from bulge bracket investment banks to boutique asset management firms.
About UCLFC 2012
Building on the success of the 2011 Finance Conference, the current team is working to make 2012's even better with more interesting and specific panel discussions, more options for the breakout sessions to enable more interaction between delegates and the leaders of the sessions, and a larger international focus. Also, by increasing the number of firms participating in our "internship scheme", delegates will have a greater chance in obtaining first-hand experience working in the exciting world of finance.
The conference couldn't come at a more interesting time, with global markets in disarray and many economies struggling. The UCL Finance Conference is your chance to hear the opinions of some of the industry's leaders on a range of issues. The breakout sessions will also allow you to get a more in depth knowledge of your chosen area be it buy side or sell side in a smaller group and more personal setting.
Why you should join?
The conference promises to offer a unique insight into finance and, as such, demand is expected to far outstrip the number of available places for a third year running. We therefore encourage you to apply as early as possible so that your application can be screened by the Cornell Partnership, who will be assessing applications again this year.
We look forward to seeing you at the UCL Finance Conference 2012!
