EU-China Business & Technology Co-operation Fair

Part of Enterprise Europe Network, LCCI is organising a trade mission to Chengdu, China.
The EU-China Business & Technology Fair has been held seven times, with an overall attendance of more than 1,500 EU companies, organisations, universities, government bodies, research institutions, etc., plus over 3,000 Chinese counterparts.
Today the Fair is already a prominent investment, trade and technology cooperation platform between the EU and China, with the largest number of EU participating companies.
This year’s Fair will be branded ‘’New Paths for EU and China Innovation and Industry Co-operation’’ and will focus on environmental protection, energy, modern agriculture, biopharmaceutical, aviation and IT sectors, however companies from all sectors interested in West China are welcome
Participation fee: £395 (There is a discounted rate of £295 for LCCI Premier Plus members).
Travel Grant Scheme
To qualify for government financial assistance you must be an SME under the EU definition and new to exporting. This means you need to have fewer than 250 employees, have a turnover of less than €50m and not have exported more than 25% of your turnover during the last year. You must also be new to this market which means you have not proactively exported there and have no existing representation in the market. You must attend the pre-mission briefing in London, the Trade Mission Briefing, the events in Chengdu and complete a post-visit questionnaire.
Companies within the 32 London boroughs and the city of London can apply to receive the financial package from UK Trade & Investment London.
An area of 120,000 square metres will be dedicated to companies and organisations attending the event to enhance brand and company image recognition. Products and technologies will be visible to over 1,000 visitors, including entrepreneurs, investors, universities and other institutions.
During the B2B events taking place at the seven previous EU-China Business & Technology Co-operation Fairs, over 10,000 B2B meetings were arranged for the attending companies. Customised individual B2B meetings with potential partners will be arranged according to the sought co-operation profile.
Visits to local Chinese companies and industrial parks will be arranged in order to give participants a better knowledge of the local business environment and business practices.
