Distance Learning, CPD and Short Courses Forum #2 Dealing with Barriers & Challenges – Marketing your Courses

As the forum membership and momentum of distance learning, CPD and short courses across UCL continues to grow we are delighted to announce the details of our next event.

The next Distance Learning, CPD and Short Courses Forum will be held between 2PM and 5PM on Wednesday 5th March 2014 in Room 422, Roberts Building, Torrington Place.

At the last Forum on 26th November, we split into groups to consider a wide range of “Institutional Barriers and Challenges”.

We now intend to move forward by addressing some of these barriers and challenges head on and the next Forum will focus on marketing and the use of social media.  As well as a series of talks, there will be the opportunity to practice using Twitter as a marketing tool during an interactive session.

Our guest speaker, Steve Ehrlich of AIA Worldwide, describes himself as a "tech geek, focused on figuring out how to use emerging tools and technologies to enhance both brand articulation and recruitment for a multitude of organisations including Yale University, Deloitte, Exelon, Walmart, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car".
