If you are a beginner writer who wants to take their writing to the next level in a supportive, friendly, but challenging environment, come along and see what this course can do for you. Book a workshop, or drop-in between noon and 4pm to chat to the tutor and former students, about the course, and Literary Kitchen’s other services.

Writing exercises which use memories triggered by sound, rewritten through the senses.

Using prompts you will build a 50 word story; with feedback in pairs, and a final read out to the group.

"This course surpassed expectation. I feel like a ball of dough that has been proved in the Literary Kitchen, and is now ready to be baked into a delicious multi-seed loaf." Dawn Henderson, Creative Writing for Beginners, July 2013
