UCL in partnership with the University of Cambridge and the ESP KTN is holding an Advanced Technology Showcase event on 24th October at Senate House, Malet Street, London to show businesses with interests in the electronics, sensors and photonics sectors, both large and small, how partnering with universities can help UK businesses to grow. The Vice Provost (Enterprise) will be attending and giving the welcome presentation.
This event aims to put businesses in direct touch with universities that are expressly looking to form a collaboration or joint venture with companies, or to gain access to expertise and technology licensing opportunities. Universities will briefly demonstrate core abilities and facilities that are available to companies and offer companies the opportunity to hold face to face meetings with relevant universities in the afternoon to discuss their needs.
Speakers from the CBI, Cisco, Vodafone and top British universities will advise you on how to embark on joint ventures and entrepreneurial activity with academia and entrepreneurs will discuss their experiences of this type of activity.
There is a small charge for this event.
