UCL has been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Entrepreneurial University of the Year Award.
The Award, which is sponsored by the National Centre for Entrepreneurship Education, seeks to recognise an institution which has developed an unparalleled environment for fostering enterprise throughout its staff and students and delivered significant impact in its local community, across the UK and overseas.
Jim Collins is a Corporate Partnerships Manager at UCL. Working with the faculties of Arts and Humanities, Laws, and Social and Historical Sciences (SLASH) he is responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with companies in a broad range of sectors in parallel to developing relationships with cultural organisations.
He has extensive experience of strategy and new business development drawn from both the higher education and private sectors with particular experience in the publishing industry. He obtained both a BA (Hons) Language and Cultural Studies and MA French from University College Cork in addition to an MBA (Higher Education Management) from the Institute of Education, University of London.
