2014 UCL CPD and Short Courses Award
The 2014 CPD and Short Courses Award recognises an individual academic or an academic team who has successfully developed and / or delivered a course for UCL’s expanding range of summer schools, professional development, executive education and recreational learning.
UCL’s vision, to maximise global educational impact through the development of an extensive portfolio of innovative CPD and Short Courses, reflects its global leadership in education and research and will stimulate innovation in the mainstream curriculum.
Building on this vision, UCL’s courses offer skills and knowledge transfer for both personal development and career advancement and may or may not be credit-bearing. Moving from an occasional educational experience to lifelong learning is essential to encourage further dialogue between UCL, employers and individuals to ensure appropriate skills training for the future.
This Award recognises the vision and drive of entrepreneurial colleagues who are involved in high quality and innovative lifelong learning to further enhance UCL’s legacy of knowledge transfer and societal impact. It is vital that we honour colleagues who are making a significant contribution to UCL’s growing catalogue of CPD and Short Courses.
