ISLE 5 Conference Social Programme

We have organised four different trips to take place on Thursday 19 July.

  • Visit to the British Library, Euston Road, with a 90-minute talk by Jonnie Robinson (Lead Curator, Spoken English). 14:00-15:30.
    • Maximum 40 people. Free.
  • Visit to St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street, 90 minute tour. 14:30-16:00.
    • Maximum 20 people. £6 per person.
  • Visit to Dr Johnson’s House, 1-hour tour. 14:00-15:00.
    • Maximum of 24 people. £7.50 per person.
  • Visit to UCL Library Special Collections, 1-hour tour. 14:00-15:00.
    • Maximum 25 people. Free.

Please note that places are limited, and will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.

The Conference itself takes place in the heart of Bloomsbury, next to the British Museum. There is opportunity for colleagues to visit the British Museum and other attractions in London, many of which are free to visit.
