The newsletter will be sent out in March, June, September and December. The March issue is the Survey’s Annual report.
Research
Creating a Web-Based Platform for English Language Teaching and Learning
This project came to an end at the end of December 2012. We are seeking further funds to continue the project, and are initiating discussions with the Department for Education to roll out the site in schools.
interactive Grammar of English (iGE) App
The Android version of iGE has now been published, and is available
from the Google Play Store.
Seminars and presentations
Survey seminars during the Autumn term
On 31 October, Dr Rachele De Felice gave a talk on Corpus Pragmatics: linguistic and practical challenges.
On 21 November, Professor Peter Trudgill spoke on East Anglian Dialects and the Spanish Inquisition.
