| After completing her first degree Jane worked as a research assistant in the Department of Paediatrics at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. Her work included collaborating in research projects involving studies of infants and children with respiratory problems. She then completed a PGCE and began teaching in adult education.
In 1999 Jane undertook an MA in Education, and she joined the team at UCL in 2000. She has been responsible for shooting, editing and producing video films for use as online teaching resources. Her research has included mainstream-special school inclusion partnerships, exploration of the role of home-school trust, an evaluation of counselling provision in schools, an evaluation of e-learning in educational psychology training, an investigation of predictors of social acceptance and social rejection of children with autistic spectrum disorders and inclusive provision options for pupils on the autistic spectrum. |
