Celia is a new addition to the UCL Ed Psych team, joining in 2010. She holds a BSc. and Ph.D. in Psychology from University College London and a diploma in Science Communication from Birkbeck University. Her Ph.D. concerned the short and long term effects of the drug ketamine, and her research relates to the effects of drugs on brain and behaviour.
Following her Ph.D., Celia has worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at UCL, spending some time at Yale University and the University of Melbourne. She is currently a research fellow in Clinical Psychology part-time in addition to her role on the Ed Psych Doctorate. She has published extensively and lectures internationally on the effects of drugs.
