The Educational Psychology Group exists to produce Educational Psychology practitioners who have the knowledge and skills to deliver accountable, research-based services and who understand how to use psychology as a force for positive change.
We do so through:
Supporting initial professional training of Educational Psychologists on the three year Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology DECPsy doctoral programme (Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology)
Helping to shape the future development of Educational Psychology research and practice (CPD courses and resources)
Promoting the work of the Educational Psychology Group in the college, nationally and internationally

Presenters used examples of recent and current work undertaken during the UCL professional doctorate programme to illustrate ways in which traditional expectations of evaluation activity may be met but also exceeded by focused initiatives at local level.
Congratulations to our third cohort of Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology trainees (2008-2011) who completed the programme this summer and will soon obtain their Doctoral awards - we wish them all the very best for their future in EP practice.
