- Module registration takes place via Portico on a first come, first served basis. You can take up to 1.0 unit outside the department (known as an 'elective') in any one year subject to the rules described below.
- Registration and Induction Schedule (all Years)
- Choosing and registering for Modules (Optional and Electives)
L100 and L101 students can take up to one unit in each year at UCL subject to the constraints listed above.
This subsection details the rules governing the selection of electives, including those that are not permitted (usually due to too much overlap with modules offered by the Economics Department).
If you need to change a module after you have confirmed your selections on Portico, then you need to complete the form above - ensuring it has your signature on it - and return it to Viv Crockford in Room G18c, Drayton House.
Your choice of Elective Modules must be approved by the Economics
department and also your home department.
Please use the above link to check that your chosen optional/elective modules do not clash with each other.
- Tutorial classes
These are allocated automatically by the central college timetabling programme. Tutorials will appear on your on-line timetable after the first week of lectures. Please note that attendance in tutorial classes and submission of regular coursework is compulsory for all Economics modules.
