Term 1Research methods course (2 week intensive course in Mathematics and Statistics.) |
Term 2Research methods course - 1 week course covering:
Four optional courses, of which two or three are from List C: Advanced core options and one or two from List A: Applied options. Most optional courses consist of a 2 hour lecture and a 1 hour small group class per week. |

All core and optional courses are assessed by a final exam in May/June.
For the maths and stats course, students take the final examination at the end of the two-week intensive course, in September. Although weekly problem sets are marked and feedback is given, they do not play any part in the final assessment.
