The 9th RES PhD Meetings 2014 will be held on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th January 2014 at University College London, Gower Street, London, WC1E 6BT.
Please come to the South Cloisters in the main Wilkins Building when you arrive.
The aim of the event is to provide a service both for UK and European university economics departments wishing to recruit PhD students, and for PhD students seeking academic jobs in the UK or elsewhere in Europe. This annual meeting has grown to be an extremely successful event, well supported by both students and potential employers. The event consists of two days of students' presentations and poster sessions. Participating institutions attend these presentations and are also allocated a table at the conference site in order to arrange individual appointments with participating students during the course of the conference.
There will be a keynote talk given by Professor Imran Rasul (UCL / IFS) on Friday 10th January at 6pm, followed by a drinks reception which will be attended by the Government Economic Service, the Bank of England, the Institute for Fiscal Studies, the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, and Frontier Economics.
