Orazio Attanasio to be Econometric Society President in 2020

Professor Orazio Attanasio (UCL and IFS) has been elected second Vice-President of The Econometric Society. The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics. Orazio will be First Vice-President in 2019, and President in 2020.

Orazio is Professor of Economics at UCL and Research Director of IFS. In 2001 he was elected Fellow of the Econometric Society and in 2004 Fellow of the British Academy. He is currently President of the European Economic Association, and is a member of the Council of the Royal Economic Society.
