The Economics Department is proud to be taking part in the UCL Green Impact initiative that supports departments across UCL to improve their environmental impact.

Cycling at UCL provides all you need to know about cycling in London including maps, facilities and how you can save money by claiming expenses!

Plane stamp

Put used postage stamps to good use by donating to a worthy charity. Contact your Green Champion for more information.

DONATE all your unwanted books to Better World Books UK!

Better World Books keeps books out of landfill and supports literacy by selling them on multiple online marketplaces. Launched in 2008, the service supports READ International, the National Literacy Trust and other literacy charities. Your drop-off point is – 125 Staff Common Room – Drayton House – or contact your Green Champion.

Check your energy consumption

Check you have switched off!! Especially important when leaving your office over the Christmas and Easter breaks and also when leaving a teaching room! View our energy use at the Carbon Culture webpages.

Warp It

We are signed up to Warp It and can help you source, reuse or recycle any surplus resources such as furniture, equipment, fixtures and fittings – for more information contact your Green Champion.
