Evidence Based Practice Unit
Established in 2006, the Evidence Based Practice Unit (EBPU) is part of University College London (UCL) and the Anna Freud Centre. The Unit is dedicated to finding the best ways to help young people with mental health problems. This involves bridging the worlds of research, service development, audit and service evaluation in clinics, schools and elsewhere.
To this end, we work with front line practitioners, service users, service managers, commissioners, policy makers and others in order to:
- develop and share the latest evidence with mental health professionals;
- draw on and contribute to the latest research;
- develop practical tools, training and information.
Our unit brings together a mixture of researchers, clinicians, statisticians, designers and trainers.
