Info: The Department of Cariology in the Sahlgrenska Academy at Göteborg University is one of 4 dental schools in Sweden at which teaching/training as well as scientific research is carried out. The team at the Dept. of Cariology has a broad expertise in cariogenic bacteria, food cariogenicity, caries risk assessment and caries prevention. The Dept. of Cariology receives financial support from both national and international sources.
