Info: Genova University is one of the largest Universities in Italy. The contribution of the Dept. of Biology to the NUTRIDENT project comes from the Microbiology group and the Physiology group. The Microbiology group's contribution will focus on bacterial adherence, bacterial pathogenicity, bacterial interactions with different oral substrates and biofilm formation. The Physiology group will contribute knowledge on eukaryotic cell biology and cell responses to stressors. This partner is a group of 3 researchers, Prof. Pruzzo, Prof. Debbia, Prof. Canesi with different sub-specialties who will act jointly to fulfil the assigned tasks.
