UCL Eastman Dental Institute at IADR General Session 2012

A number UCL Eastman Dental Institute staff will be speaking at the 2012 General Session of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).  The meeting takes place in Iguaçu Falls, Brazil, from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 23rd July.  The Institute will also be involved in the Exhibition that takes place for two days over Thursday and Friday.

Wednesday 20th June
Peter Fine will be presenting the paper Practitioner Perceptions after Two Years of a Restorative Dentistry Programme
Mohamed Parkar will be presenting the paper IL-18 and Endotoxin levels in Diabetes Mellitus and Periodontitis
Dr Francesco D’Aiuto will be presenting the paper Telomeres Length in individuals with Diabetes Mellitus and Periodontitis

Thursday 21st June
Dr Dave Spratt will be presenting the poster Shiitake Mushroom Extracts Disrupt Streptococcus mutans and Actinomyces naeslundii Biofilms

Friday 22nd June
Dr Chris Louca will be presenting the poster A Comparative Study of the Bacterial Contamination of Dental Impressions

Exhibition - Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June
Attendees will be able to speak to Institute staff in person and find out more about our activities and opportunities for postgraduate study and research by visiting the UCL Eastman Dental Institute stand at the Exhibition.  We’ll be at stand 1004 in the Exhibit Hall throughout the two days.
