ORE Part 2: Dental Manikin Practice Day
A one day course that allows students to spend the full day practicing their skills for the ORE Part 2 Dental Manikin examination. Teaching staff are on hand for advice and demonstration when requested.
What will I learn?
The course allows students a full day practicing their skills in order to build their confidence in preparation for the ORE Part 2 Dental Manikin examination. There is no lecture component, but students are under constant supervision of skilled staff who are on hand to answer questions, offer advice, and give individual demonstrations.
Why should I study this course at the Institute?
The course allows students to practice in well-equipped, state-of-the-art skills laboratories, under close supervision of skilled staff. The staff:student ratio of 1:5 allows the course to be tailored to individual needs.
Availability: One full day.
Verifiable CPD: 6.5 hours.
The full day is spent practicing any elements of the Dental Manikin exam (as covered in the three day ORE Part 2: Dental Manikin revision course) upon which students wish to spend time.
Please note that molar and premolar endodontic teeth are not provided.
Teaching and learning
This is a skills revision course with no lecture component. Students are under constant supervision with staff available to give advice and demonstration.
Applicants should have already sat the ORE Part 1 examination, and for maximum benefit will have taken the Institute's three day ORE Part 2: Dental Manikin revision course.

Applications are accepted until the start date depending on availability. This course operates on a first come first serve basis.
Who can apply?
The course is a part of the Institute's series of ORE revision courses
and is suitable for applicants preparing for ORE Part 2 or LDS examinations. It allows students to build up their skills through practice in specific area(s) of their own choice.
