Dental Sedation and Pain Management

The Institute offers a part-time, one year degree in Dental Sedation and Pain Management that starts in May, and this October the Programme Director will additionally host an evening study club on Controversies in Sedation.
Applications are open for the Dental Sedation and Pain Management Postgraduate Certificate until 21 March 2014. The 2014 programme commences in May, and is open to dental and medical practitioners.
The programme provides clinical attachments alongside theoretical training, as well as simulation training in the management of medical emergencies, and aims to develop students' competencies in line with current UK and international sedation guidelines. Separately, the Institute will host an evening Study Club on the topic of Controversies in Sedation that will take place on Thursday 31 October 2013. The evening will take place at 123 Gray's Inn Road and will feature lectures from the PGCert's Programme Director, Professor James Roelofse, Dr David Craig and Dr Prableen Anand.
