The Centre for Auditory Research was funded by an £11 million award from the Wellcome Trust and opened in 2005. It provides a single roof for all of UCL’s researchers who are interested in hearing and deafness. Its open plan infrastructure facilitates interdisciplinary learning between groups.
Research at the UCL Ear Institute goes beyond lab based exploratory investigations into front line human applications. Scientists from the Ear Institute have revolutionised many aspects of modern ENT healthcare, hearing rehabilitation and diagnosis and you can help!
