evidENT is a multidisciplinary team of clinical academics, scientists, research nurses, audiologists and project managers at the UCL Ear Institute and Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals.
Led by Professor Anne GM Schilder and Mr Nishchay Mehta, we are committed to developing the best researchers and delivering the best research for patients with ENT, Hearing and Balance conditions. Our research spans the translational pathway, from early phase clinical trials to health policy. We apply a range of research methodologies including evidence synthesis, health economics, qualitative research, and data science. We are supported by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) through the University College London Hospitals (UCLH) Biomedical Research Centre and the Clinical Research Network (CRN) North Thames. evidENT collaborates globally with academic teams as well as pharma, technology and biotech partners. Patients and members of the public are an important part of our study teams, sharing their lived experience and ensuring our research adds value.
