Prof. Jonathan Ashmore awarded Croonian Medal and Lecture

The Ear Institute is delighted to announce that Professor Jonathan Ashmore has been awarded the Croonian Medal from the Royal Society. This is for his "significant contributions to the field of sensory neuroscience, shaping our current understanding of inner ear physiology, in particular for his analysis of the role of cochlear hair cells in normal hearing”

Spotlight on Professor Valerie Lund

If you're looking for inspirational women, then look no further. The UCL Ear Institute is hugely privileged to be able to name Professor Valerie Lund CBE as one of our own. She is the only designated Professor of Rhinology in the UK here at the UCL Ear Institute and holds Honorary contracts at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, Moorfields Eye Hospital, University College Hospital and Imperial College.
