Short courses
In principle, all courses in the Dutch Department are available as short courses (or continuing and professional development courses) to students and members of the public from outside UCL. For language and translation courses this depends on the availability of places and an assessment by the course tutor. The Department can arrange for short course students to sit exams and provide a certificate on successful completion of the course.
Fees are pro-rata (one eighth of the normal BA fees for a 0.5 course unit and one quarter for a 1.0 course unit) plus a small administrative fee. For more information please contact the admissions and a confirmation of the precise fees please contact the Admissions Officer.
In collaboration with the UCL Language Centre we also offers a series of distance short courses in Dutch. Please see the VirtualDutch website for more information and direct enquiries on these distance courses to the Language Centre.
