Dr Hannah Golden…

Hannah started at the Dementia Research Centre as a PhD student funded by Alzheimer's Research UK. Her supervisors were Professor Jason Warren and Dr Sebastian Crutch. Her research focuses on how Alzheimer’s disease affects central auditory processing. This involves problems such as following a conversation in a busy room, or knowing where sounds are coming from. Hannah uses neuropsychological tests and MRI scans to assess how people process complex auditory information, and how this is related to structure and activity in the brain.
