Along with her work within the Trials Unit, Liz is studying part-time towards a PhD at the Institute of Neurology, UCL. Her main research interests lie in developing imaging and cognitive measures to improve early differential diagnosis and track disease progression in the neurodegenerative dementias, with a particular focus on frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) patients.
