Carole is a PhD student at TIG (Translational Imaging Group) of UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing (CMIC) and at the Dementia Research Centre. 

Previously, she completed her studies at Ecole Polytechnique (France) with a major in Applied Mathematics and obtained her master diploma in Biomedical Engineering from ETH Zurich in 2013.

Her main research interests are in image segmentation and its clinical application to dementia especially in the presence of pathologies. In the course of her PhD, she tries to detect, model and characterise abnormal observations. Her PhD subject focuses especially on the study of white matter lesions observed in the ageing process.
