Katy Judd has worked at the Dementia Research Centre for 15 years and is a Consultant Nurse. This is primarily a clinical role, supporting patients attending the NHS Specialist Cognitive Disorders clinic. She leads the CANDID service which sees people face to face in clinic, provides contact via a telephone helpline, and offers support groups for people affected by primary progressive aphasia, posterior cortical atrophy (PCA) and familial Alzheimer's disease (FAD). Katy contributes to the Camden Dementia Strategy Implementation group and UCL Partners dementia steering group. She has an interest in clinical and research ethics, clinical audit and Patient and Public Involvement.
