Congratulations to Patrick, one of our PhD students who has had a paper accepted by the British Dental Journal on oral health in prisons, which was part of his MSc project. 

Well done to Ankur Singh (MSc Dental Public Health 2012-13) his first paper has just been accepted in Preventive Medicine.

Richard Watt and George Tsakos have recently returned from a successful research visit in Japan. During their visit hosted by Dr Jun Aida they met with colleagues from the JAGES study to discuss joint collaborative plans for future research on older people.

Funding has been secured from NIHR starting from 1st May 2013
