Applying to UCL

UCL welcomes applications from students with disabilities.

If you are thinking of studying at UCL – either as an undergraduate or graduate student, on a full-time or part-time course – Student Disability Services can support you in a variety of ways.

The same entry criteria are applied to all applicants regardless of disability. Your application to study at UCL is considered solely on the basis of academic merit.

Any discussions about your disability support requirements will be kept separate from the admissions procedure.

On your application form you will be given the opportunity to declare a disability. You do not have to declare your disability at this point but we strongly recommend that you take this opportunity to make the university aware of your disability and support needs. This will ensure that you receive information and advice from us promptly.

UCL aims to ensure that all courses are designed to offer the best possible opportunities for full participation by disabled students. However, many of the older buildings at UCL are not fully accessible to anyone with a mobility difficulty. If you are a wheelchair user or have difficulty with stairs, you are strongly advised to contact us before you apply to arrange a visit.

General information about admissions can be found on the UCL Prospective Student web pages http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students
