End: May 23, 2013 07:00 PM

The Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) will be hosting this digital excursion, showing off how they use computing and mathematical analysis for mapping and understanding spatial systems. There will be short talks and workshops led by researchers in a variety of areas including the internet of things, networks, virtual cities and literary geographies, and demonstrations of CASA's exhibits "Pigeon Sim" (using an XBox Kinect to "fly around" a virtual London) and "The London Data Table" (showing realtime data feeds from all over the city). This will lead into an informal discussion over drinks, until the event closes.
All are welcome. Registration for this event is required as places are strictly limited.
The Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis is located on the 1st Floor, 90 Tottenham Court Road
