Legacy Giving
UCL's Legacy Giving team offers support and advice for people who are considering supporting, or have already decided to support, UCL with a gift in their will. The team offers advice throughout the process of leaving a legacy to UCL and is able to assure donors that UCL will fulfil their wishes in years to come.
If you or someone you know is considering supporting UCL with a gift in their will, the Legacy team will help by:
- Assisting you in establishing and sustaining a relationship with the donor through the sensitive process of leaving a legacy
- Providing information on UCL’s charitable status and inheritance tax details for inclusion in wills
- Offering accurate, tailored wording to share with a bank or solicitor
They will also offer support and advice if you or your department has been approached by a donor wishing to set up an In Memoriam gift in memory of a student, member of staff or individual.
For further information and advice on legacy gifts, please contact Ruth Coutinho, (020 3108 3822, ext. 53822) Deputy Head of Legacy Giving.
