About the Development & Alumni Relations Office

‘We build relationships to make remarkable things happen at UCL’

There has never been a more exciting time to join UCL’s Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). We are currently in the momentum-building phase for a major new fundraising and supporter engagement campaign, expected to launch publicly in 2016. This will be a new type of campaign; it will be more international in its outlook and will extend our reach beyond the traditional pool of alumni as prospective donors. It will have a strong partnership element with other institutions and with our partner hospital charities, and will change the way we identify and engage with all of our supporters.

This Campaign will have a transformative effect on the whole of UCL. By the time we conclude, we will be raising more money than ever before in support of our most significant priorities, providing the platform to take us to our 200th anniversary in 2026.

The Campaign will span the breadth of UCL’s areas of strength and expertise, with an increased focus on fundraising to support the student experience and health and medical research. It will positively impact on our estate, our research, our staff, our students, and our local, national, and international community.

Today, the team comprises more than 60 members of staff working across Supporter Engagement, Fundraising and Insight. In order to deliver a campaign of this scale, we are expanding and building a multi-talented team of individuals who have the potential to deliver new and innovative approaches and the ambition to push the boundaries of what is possible.
