UCL Development & Alumni Relations
Jennie joined UCL as Deputy Director of Development and Corporate Communications in April 2006. Her role now, as Director of Strategy and Operations, is to co-ordinate strategy and planning for the department, take a lead in developing our relationships with strategic fundraising partners such as Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, Moorfields Eye Charity and the Royal Free Charity, and to lead all the operational activity that enables our fundraisers and supporter development teams to be successful in their roles. She is also responsible for supporting all parts of UCL in their own fundraising efforts through provision of help and guidance and for managing UCL's gift acceptance and due diligence processes. Jennie is responsible for the project management of the current Campaign and for keeping track of how much we are raising as an institution and what impact philanthropy is having on our strategic priorities.
Before UCL, Jennie worked in various roles at the University of Exeter and before that in management development and recruitment consultancy. Jennie is a member of the International Advisory Group for CASE Africa and has lectured and provided pro-bono consultancy to universities in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. She is a member of the faculty for the CASE Europe Spring Institute which trains recent recruits to the HE fundraising world.
