I am a visiting researcher from America, and am funded by the Susan Rappaport Knafel ’52 scholarship from my university. I graduated with a BA in psychology from Wellesley College where my current interests in developmental psychology and education developed.
I am currently working with Professor Gary Morgan and Dr. Tanya Denmark on several research projects including the Baby Iconicity Project and a project looking at executive function in young signing children. Most of my current work consists of conducting literature reviews and coding and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. I will be visiting schools to help out with testing as well. Some of my objectives for this year are to acquire BSL, learn new research methodologies, and reflect on the crosslinguistic similarities and differences between BSL and ASL.
