Susan Booth

Susan is the Interpreting Co-ordinator at DCAL with overall responsibility for a team of two in-house interpreters.    She has been an interpreting practitioner for nearly 20 years, having spent her early career working in Leeds.    After qualifying via the UCLAN/SLI Post-Graduate Diploma, she moved to London in 2003.     Prior to her current role, she had already been working at DCAL on a freelance basis for a number of years, and her work has included opportunities to interpret at a number of academic conferences including Multimod 2009, TISLR 11 and ISB 9.
