Mischa Cooke

I come from a big Deaf family and have been using BSL all my life. As a BSL user, I have plenty of experience interacting within Deaf communities on a social level. I joined DCAL in August 2008 and am working as a part-time Deaf Community Liaison Officer. My two main focuses are: -

• External/Internal Deaf events and conferences in the UK 
• Recruitment of volunteers for DCAL research projects
