Charlotte Ashton

Biographical Details:

Charlotte is a specialty registrar in public health in London. She has a BA in Geography from University College Chichester and an MSc in Demography and Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Prior to joining the public health training programme Charlotte worked in several London PCTs as an analyst and a public health strategist.

Research Interests

Charlotte has an interest in inequalities in access to health services. She is currently working on a project to examine the contribution of clinical interventions and lifestyle changes to the decline in disease specific mortality rates in the population aged 50 and above in England. Other research interests include health intelligence and the use of routine data in research.
